This film is actually made by James May (British television presenter), in the 6th episode of The Grand Tour's first season. This film explains about the titanic duel between Ford and Ferrari during the 1960s. James revisits 1964, 1965, and 1966's notoriously dangerous and world-famous 24-hour race at Le Mans.
The story takes us to when Ferrari ruled motor racing in Europe, when Ferrari is in a deep financial crisis. Then, Ford comes to the rescue by offering Enzo Ferrari to sell his business to Henry Ford II. Everything was going well, until Enzo refused to hand over control of the racing department to Ford, and this is where the duel begins. Henry, who is now "apoplectic with rage", ordered his employees to build him a car to annihilate the Italians at their own game. Watch more to find out what happens!
